Peanut is a mini Lop. I actually had no intentions of getting another bunny but I am really a sucker
for a cute face! I went to the pet store to get some carefresh bunny litter and I looked
over and saw this adorable bunny sitting in a cage full of guinea pigs. I felt so bad for
the poor little thing and she was just so cute that I had to bring her home.
Peanut loves to be pet but absolutely hates to be held and struggles if you try
to pick her up. She lived happily with Snugglebunny and Freckles and they
all got along great.
Peanut and our cat Cuddles really
seemed to love each other. You can see them here cuddling together on my bed while my
husband tries to pet them equally.

Update: We have no idea what happened to
Peanut. On Sunday evening, she was fine when I fed the bunnies and she was
eating and everything. On Monday morning, my husband went to feed the
bunnies and she was fine at that point also and came running over to eat.
Monday evening (9/23/02) when I got home from work, I went down to feed the
bunnies and she was laying on her side. At first, I thought she was asleep
and when I looked closer, I realized she was gone. My husband and I are
very short on cash these days so we decided not to do a necropsy or have her
cremated and we buried her in the backyard where she loved to play.
